Overview
Forjio (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates forjio.com and associated product sites under Forjio Engine and Forjio Studio. We take privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it. We keep it minimal by design.
Information We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide our services:
- Email address — when you subscribe to our newsletter or create an account on an Engine product. You provide this voluntarily.
- Usage data — aggregate, anonymised analytics about which pages are visited and how visitors navigate the site. We use privacy-respecting analytics tools that do not build personal profiles.
- Product-generated data — for Engine products (e.g., LinkSnap), data you create within the product (links, form submissions) is stored to provide the service. Each product's own documentation covers this in detail.
- Payment information — for Studio product purchases, payment is processed by our payment provider. We do not store your card details.
How We Use Your Information
- To send you product launch updates if you have subscribed to the newsletter
- To operate and improve our products and services
- To process and fulfil purchases of Studio products
- To respond to your questions or support requests
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
Cookies
Forjio.com uses only essential cookies required for site functionality. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party retargeting pixels. Our analytics are aggregate and anonymised — individual visitors are not tracked across sessions.
Third-Party Services
We use a small number of third-party services to operate:
- Email service provider — for sending newsletter and transactional emails. Your email address is shared with this provider for delivery purposes only.
- Payment processor — for Studio product purchases. Card details are handled entirely by the payment processor and never reach our servers.
- Hosting provider — the static site and Engine product infrastructure are hosted on cloud providers. Server access logs may capture IP addresses as part of standard infrastructure operation.
Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as necessary. Newsletter subscriber data is removed upon unsubscribe. Account data for Engine products is deleted within 30 days of account closure. Purchase records are retained for the period required by applicable financial regulations.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@forjio.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects when changes were made. For significant changes, we will notify newsletter subscribers by email.
